ABOUT US

Providing a blend of traditional, gospel, contemporary and classic bluegrass music, Michelle Nixon & Drive mesmerizes their audiences with their intense instrumentation and vivacious vocals.  The band is well known for their high-energy performances and a stage presence that is a true conveyance of their love for the music they perform.  Michelle Nixon leads the group with her soulful lead and harmony vocals and also contributing her songwriting talents as well.   Joining Michelle are Patrick Robertson on guitar and lead/harmony vocals; Chris Harris on mandolin; Jeremy Boling, five-string banjo; John Wade on bass; and Rick Keen on Dobro. 

The title of the group's last project, "What More Should I Say?" on Pinecastle Records speaks as a personal message for the members of this vibrant group, all of whom share the desire to impart the music they have in their heart, a desire that is truly expressed in the band's name - DRIVE!
