"Nashville Star" winner Brad Cotter; John Arthur Martinez; Montgomery Gentry; Ricochet; and Jimmy Wayne Added to List of Artists Appearing in Exhibit Hall

NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Now, in addition to pictures and autographs, CMA Music Festival/Fan Fair® four-day ticket holders can add live music to the list of activities in the Wrangler® Fan Fair Exhibit Hall, the epicenter of the fan/artist bonding experience at the Nashville Convention Center, with the addition of CMA Acoustic Corner.

"For 32 years, music has been a cornerstone of this event, and we are committed to giving our attendees access to as much as possible during the four days," said CMA Executive Director Ed Benson. "As the event has grown so have opportunities to include more artists and more performances and 2004 is no exception."

CMA Music Festival, called the "crown jewel" of Country Music festivals by USA Today, will be held Thursday through Sunday, June 10-13 in Downtown Nashville with hundreds of artists, 60 hours of concerts, daily autograph signings, sporting events, family activities and more. It is a four-day, non- stop celebration of America's music for people of all ages who love great songs, great artists and a great time.

In 2004, Acoustic Corner has been added to activities at the Wrangler® Fan Fair to give independent Bluegrass and Country artists a place to showcase their talent. Acoustic Corner is open from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM daily on level two of the Nashville Convention Center and is free for all four-day ticket holders. Artist performances times will be posted on-site daily. Most of the artists performing will also be signing autographs in the Exhibit Hall.

Performers include Suzanne Edwards Alford; Tim Ash; Linden "Cadillac" Bartels; Bernadette; Brad & Shelly; Tony Brantley; Jerry Burkhart; Don Campbell; Melonie Cannon; Thom Ellis; Jamey Garner; Higher Crossing; Ryan Holladay; Donna Hughes Band; Kyle Jennings; The Larkins; Andy Leftwich; Memarie; Mixt Company; Michelle Nixon & Drive; Pine Mountain Railroad; Sisters Wade; Damon Smith; Thomas Tillman; Shane Warner; White Lightning Strike; World's Greatest Fishing Band; Chris Young and more artists to be announced soon.

A traditional favorite, the lifestyle exhibits and autograph booths in the Nashville Convention Center, proudly carrying the Fan Fair name and sponsored by Wrangler®, are sold out with more exhibitors than ever before including legends, today's hitmakers and tomorrow's hopefuls. Artists added to the growing list of performers and celebrities appearing include Montgomery Gentry, Ricochet, Jimmy Wayne, "Nashville Star" winner Brad Cotter (and fellow contestants); and last year's "Nashville Star" finalist John Arthur Martinez.

Other artists already announced include Trace Adkins, Alabama, Bill Anderson, T. Bubba Bechtol, John Berry, Blue County, Tracy Byrd, Charlie Daniels, Kassie DePaiva, Diamond Rio, Ty England, Sara Evans, 4Runner, Donna Fargo, Jamey Garner, Vern Gosdin, Andy Griggs, Eric Heatherly, Steve Holy; Con Hunley, Buddy Jewell, Royal Wade Kimes, Miranda Lambert, Lonestar, Daniel Lee Martin, Lila McCann, Jo Dee Messina, John Michael Montgomery, Jamie O'Neal, LeAnn Rimes, Rushlow, Sawyer Brown, Blake Shelton, Marty Stuart, Trick Pony, Trini Triggs, Josh Turner, Phil Vassar, Bryan White, Mark Wills, Brad Wolf, Darryl Worley, the stars of NBC Daytime dramas "Days of our Lives" and "Passions" and many more.

In addition to artist booths, music industry organizations, media outlets and lifestyle sponsors are also reserving booth space at "Country Music's Biggest Party(TM)" including an exhibit of the "The Spirit of Liberty" motorcycle, built by Orange County Choppers on the Discovery Channel's hit reality series "American Chopper." The chopper, which is entirely plated in copper preserved from the Statue of Liberty National Monument, was commissioned by Gold Leaf Corporation as a tribute to America. Even the shift lever was created from electrical cable that previously lit the statue's torch.

In addition to artist booths, two new areas are being added this year:

Music Row -- a section of Wrangler® Fan Fair created to offer a snapshot of Nashville's music industry center dubbed "Music Row." It provides major record labels the opportunity to promote their artists and label projects to fans. Participants include Curb, MCA/Mercury and Universal South. CMA will also host a booth in this area that will raise further awareness of Country Music and for artists coming out of Nashville's Music Row.

Bluegrass Row -- provides fans an opportunity to engage Bluegrass artists in a central location. Participants include Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine; film project "Bluegrass Journey"; Hope River Entertainment; Rounder Records artists The Grascals; and Skaggs Family Records.
